Preparing Families for Life Overseas

When: Saturday 31 March 2012
Where: Redcliffe College
Time: 10am - 4.30pm
Hosted by: Redcliffe College

Redcliffe College's popular Preparing Families for Life Overseas day workshop will be held this year on Saturday 31 March 2012 from 10am - 4.30pm.

The adults attend sessions led by Marion Knell, who is author of Families on the Move. School aged children have their own programme, led by Janet Chapman (OMF) and Stephen and Yolanda Jerrard (New Tribes Mission), and there will be a creche for pre-school children. Each year we have very postitive feedback, for example a parent on the 2011 day commented:

'I just wanted to write and say how much we enjoyed the day on Saturday. The best thing to come out of it was that my 9-year old daughter said that she now didn't mind about the possibility of the move. She had been quietly apprehensive about it and the leaving of friends etc., but is now clearly not so worried about it as she had been. Please pass on our thanks to the leaders of the children's ministry for helping the children get a clearer picture of what they can expect in the next few weeks and months.'

You may have families in your organisation who are preparing to live and work overseas, and who would benefit from the day - so please forward this email to anyone you think would be interested. Places are limited and early booking is advised.

Price for the day is £35 per adult or £60 per couple, and £15 per child between 3 months and 11 years. A leaflet and booking form is attached, and move information is available on our website at www.redcliffe.org/preparing-families-2012
