Disappointment over HFE Bill
You'll know by now that we lost in the House of Commons on all four controversial aspects of the
HFE Bill – there will now be animal-human hybrids, more use of 'saviour siblings', no requirement to consider the need for a father, and no reduction in the upper limit for
abortion. See some of

prayer and action. We still need to be vigilant that no liberalising amendments will succeed at Report stage on 17 June.

CMF member wins BMJ campaigns contest
The proposal of Scott Murray and
colleagues to implement the principles of palliative care beyond
cancer patients
topped a BMJ poll and will be the main subject of their campaigns in the next year.
Motions around whole person/spiritual care at LMC conference

Doctors for Ukraine mission 25 July-4 August
GPs, general physicians and gynaecologists are sought for a medical
