Fellowship for Juniors

Juniors Book Project

The Juniors Book Project has not been forgotten. CMF is still working hard, collating the best of our writings into a book which is due for publication in Spring 2008. (Get a taste of what's to come - view sample pages)

The early years as a junior doctor are often tough after the relative safety of student life. Maintaining Christian vitality is more difficult than ever in the face of long hours, shift work and little spare time. Surviving is essential: if we struggle in these crucial years we may lose faith completely.

We need your help! Even if you have not written before, and whatever stage you are at in your career, we would love to hear from you. This is an open invitation, especially to current juniors, and even senior students, to submit a brief piece of testimony on how you coped with a particular crisis or issue that arose during your early years as a doctor. In addition, we have specific topics we need people to write about - please get in touch!

Contact Rachael Pickering on rachael.pickering@cmf.org.uk for more information.

Whilst we don't promise to include all submitted material, we will consider everything that comes in. Of course, we can anonymise submissions if preferred.
