Personal Beliefs and Medical Practice

The GMC published its new guidance on Personal Beliefs and Medical Practice on 17 March along with a covering press release. CMF welcomes its broad thrust but has concerns about how paragraphs on faith sharing and involvement in abortion in particular might be applied. We have written to the GMC seeking clarification of their position on abortion and their response is available on this website along with our overall assessment of the guidance.
