  • You should apply for a business visa (not a student visa).
  • It is advised not to book your tickets before applying for your visa.
  • Visa application fees are non-refundable, so ensure you give all the relevant information correctly.
  • CMF will provide you with a letter of invitation for you to give to the Entry Clearance Officer/Immigration Officer.

On your arrival in the UK:

  • Please make your own way to the accommodation if you can.
  • We recommend using the Transport for London website to plan your travel across London.
  • We recommend using an Oyster Card for use on public transport in London. If you buy a card before arriving at CMF, we will refund you.
  • From Heathrow, we advise you to use the London Underground, using an Oyster Card.
  • From Stansted, Luton or Gatwick we'd recommend the bus. One company providing cheap transport to central London is easyBus, but you need to book as soon as you can.
  • Most importantly, please let us know how, when and where you will be arriving so we can arrange to meet you as necessary.
