The CMF has collated all its relevant publications over the last ten years and published them on a new website - www.ethicsforschools.org. The site works by grouping all the CMF's material on each subject area of the course under easy-to-access headings. This means students may, at the click of a mouse, find all the CMF's published articles and research on major topic areas in the syllabus such as bioethics, abortion, euthanasia and human cloning.
CMF General Secretary Peter Saunders said: 'The religious studies syllabus has altered radically over the past few years. No longer do students focus on the synoptic gospels or the missionary journeys of St Paul. Now, as part of their courses, they are being asked to consider many of the most challenging areas of social and medical ethics from the perspective of one of the world's major religions. The most popular religion chosen is Christianity. These issues often generate a great deal of media interest.
"The CMF has devised this user-friendly new resource to enable students to be better equipped to deal with their course work. It also ensures that they have access to research and opinion that is well thought through from a professional standpoint - and is unashamedly Christian."
The entire web site has also been produced on CD-Rom. This is available from the CMF, price £5 inclusive of postage and packing.

Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) was founded in 1949 and is an interdenominational organisation with over 5,000 doctors, 900medical and nursing students and 300 nurses and midwives as members in all branches of medicine, nursing and midwifery.
