ChildAid's Board of Trustees

Trustees of ChildAid are committed Christians and are members of their local church of any denomination. Trustees are unpaid.

Vacancy for a new Trustee

ChildAid's Board of Trustees would like to appoint a new Trustee with experience of work in health care and/or special needs and/or paediatric care. Applicants with experience of the planning and implementation of child care are particularly welcome, as ChildAid moves into a period of growth following the receipt of generous legacies which will fund a new respite centre near Kiev.

Essential Requirements

Committed Christian with ongoing membership of a Christian church.

Experience of work in health care and/or special needs and/or paediatric care.

Desirable Requirements

A personal vision for the physical and spiritual improvement of the lives of disabled, abandoned or deprived children in countries where statutory provision is low.

The work of a Trustee

Attendance (in person or by Skype) of

(a) four Trustee Board meetings per annum in Bromley in office hours, and

(b) four Working Group meetings per annum by Skype in office hours. (Each Trustee belongs to one Working Group: Overseas Projects, or Marketing & Fundraising, or Strategy & Governance).
