Are you a GP with a passion for paediatrics or a paediatrician (or potential paediatrician) at any stage of your career (F3 to retirement!!)? We would love to welcome you to our small and friendly team at Potter's Village in Kisoro, Uganda for a period of six months or more (although shorter visits would be equally welcomed because we think you'll love it and you'll want to come back!)
Potter's Village provides inpatient and outpatient paediatric and neonatal care to around 4000 children every year. We also provide midwifery-led maternity services, have a fledgling disabled children's service and have a growing involvement with local government health services.
Kisoro is in the far south west of Uganda, very close to the borders with both Congo (DRC) and Rwanda, and is one of the most scenic parts of this beautiful country. Despite our rural location we are less than 3 hours drive from the international airport in Kigali, Rwanda.
