Finnish Christian Medical Society's primary goals are to bring together Finnish Christian doctors and medical students, to discuss questions related to our medical profession in the name and Spirit of Christ, support the medical missionary work and keep up relations with similar societies and organisations in other countries. In order to achieve these goals, we:
Organize annually at least two meetings, one in the spring, the other in the autumn.
Have student clubs in each of the 5 medical faculties in Finland
Have several working projects in Tanzania through our Medical Christian Group (Terveyslähetyksen tuki in Finnish); of course there are more Finnish doctors working abroad through different Finnish missionary organizations
Publish a news bulletin few times a year and an annual book every 2-3 years
Meet also in other circumstances, like in the annual 'Lääkäripäivät' scientific congress in Helsinki
