are you the missing piece?
Imagine what God could do, in the UK and across the world, with a movement of Christian health professionals living and speaking for him?
CMF could not do what it does without volunteers! From members of our working groups and committees, to pioneering new areas of ministry, there are so many ways that you can become a part of CMF’s network of Christians in medicine, nursing, and midwifery who together are learning to live and speak for Jesus.
Read on for more information about the different areas of volunteer work with CMF and how you might get involved. Also on this page is information about training opportunities to equip you in your calling.
Your gifts, skills, availability, and passions will guide whatever work you do with us. Use the buttons below to find out about what CMF does, how to join if you are not a member, and to register an interest in volunteering.
Ways to volunteer with CMF
Catalyst Teams
Catalyst teams: Catalyst Teams represent and embody CMF in an area. Together, the members of the team connect with health professional communities in their area, providing support and activities to unite and equip health professionals to live and speak for Jesus.
CMF Associates
CMF Associates: CMF Associates are volunteers who work with CMF departmental teams to develop initiatives born from their passions and gifts to serve Christian health professionals and share the good news of Jesus.
CMF Scholar
A six-month opportunity to grow and develop as a Christian in medicine through teaching and mentoring in the areas of theology, ethics, leadership, and much more. Each scholar will also undertake a project to help them and the wider CMF community live and speak for Jesus.
For intercalating medical students or newly qualified doctors taking a F0/F3/F4 year. Running from September to February for just one or two days a week.
