Catalyst Teams represent CMF in your local area and embody what we are looking to do. Led by a team leader, they are made up of CMF members who volunteer their time to shape and develop CMF in their area. As one person expressed it Catalyst Teams are ‘the hands, feet and face of CMF locally’.
Catalyst teams form when there is a local vision and a desire to work together as a team. Teams vary in size,activity, and in the area they serve. CMF members can apply for roles on these teams according to their interest as well as the needs of the region.
Some of the activities teams might be involved with include:
- praying for and considering the needs of their area
- encouraging Christians working in healthcare in their region
- supporting and developing local groups, and
- putting on events to equip doctors, nurses, midwives and students to live and speak for Jesus.
