become a friend of CMF
Are you interested in the work of CMF, but not sure whether you should be a member? Friends of CMF are non-members who identify with the mission and ministry of CMF, support it in prayer, and promote the use of CMF resources in their churches. In becoming a Friend, we will keep in touch with you through our monthly e-news. You can also sign up for our specialist e-mail newsletters which come out once a quarter, and our quarterly print Prayer Diary. If you are in sympathy with the aims and ethos of CMF, you can become a Friend. We would love to have you as part of our growing family!
specialty networks
CHLN – Christians in Healthcare Leadership Network
The healthcare leadership arena is an increasingly secular one where leaders can feel isolated in the role or reluctant to step into roles in the first place. CHLN exists to unite and equip Christians in healthcare leadership – both current and future and welcomes non-clinical leaders and managers.
psychiatry network
The psychiatry network seeks to encourage godly, supportive, and caring relationships between CMF doctors and nurses working in mental health across the UK and Ireland. We run regular events, from day conferences to discussion groups.
women’s health network
The CMF women’s health network tackles topics including peer support, prayer, dealing with infertility, and IVF from a Christian perspective. We’ve also written an up-to-date review of the impact of termination of pregnancy on women’s health.
looking for some thing different?
We empower members in their workplace, through government and in the media to advocate for vulnerable people; we publish peer-reviewed and clearly written resources; and make authoritative submissions to government and other official bodies.
Health + Care Sunday
Health + Care Sunday is an annual opportunity for churches to acknowledge, affirm, and support the work done by members of your congregation and local community who work in health and social care. In your congregation you will almost certainly have doctors, nurses, care assistants, social workers, social care workers, occupational therapists, hospital administrators, porters, cleaners, ward secretaries, laboratory staff or chaplains, and people serving in many other roles.
Health + Care Sunday is run in partnership with range of other Christian health-related organisations. Stay tuned for information about Health + Care Sunday 2026.
