Our small staff team do a lot, but they could not achieve all that CMF does regularly without our committed and expanding team of volunteers. Become part of CMF’s national network for Christians in medicine, nursing, and midwifery and together we can learn to live and speak for Jesus!
there are four ways to volunteer with CMF
Catalyst Teams
Catalyst Teams represent CMF in your area (a city, a region, or a nation within the UK) and embody locally what we are looking to do as a fellowship nationally. Led by a Catalyst Team Leader, there a variety of team roles that serve the vision of CMF.
CMF Associates
Associates are volunteers who can commit to partnering with CMF on a project for up to two years. This project can be local, specialty focused, or ministry focused. You will work with other volunteers and the CMF staff team to develop and deliver your project.
CMF Scholar
A six-month opportunity to grow and develop as a Christian in medicine through teaching and mentoring in the areas of theology, ethics, leadership, and much more. Each scholar will also undertake a project to help them and the wider CMF community live and speak for Jesus.
For intercalating medical students or newly qualified doctors taking a F0/F3/F4 year. Running from September to February for just one or two days a week.

There are many other ways to volunteer with CMF, including serving on committees, supporting the office administrative team, writing and editing, supporting students, and much more.

Aimed at: medics, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals. Priority given to students in the last three years of their course and graduates in the early stages of their career to fit alongside your regular studies/placements/work.

We all have questions and concerns about our health. The Human Journey is designed to help you think biblically about these and other matters of health and wellbeing. If you want to think biblically about health, this course is for you.
