The Samaritan's Purse International DART programme is composed of on-call, readily available professionals trained to respond within a complex international environment. We currently have over 60 DART members that are on-call, ready to deploy to respond to any disaster around the world. See where Samaritan's Purse is responding to disasters
We are seeking to recruit Medical DART members that have a flexible schedule and availability to deploy immediately. A high level of prior humanitarian experience in delivering quality programming in an austere environment is desired. Medical DART members can be deployed to dangerous places, the living conditions can be challenging and the work days long and hard. However, Samaritan's Purse believes in being the first on the ground in order to serve and help those who have suffered through a catastrophic event in the name of Jesus Christ.
Roles available for short-term DART deployment:
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN APPLYING?
The recruiting, selection and training for DART positions takes place a few times each year. If you are interested in being considered for a DART role, your first step is to complete the application process. We will review your information and consider you for the next steps during our next applicant review cycle.
All expenses both for the training (2-3 day residential in the UK) and the deployment are covered by Samaritan's Purse, but successful delegates will have to demonstrate their capability and their commitment to DART.
Please contact Cynthia Ryan at cynthia.ryan@samaritans-purse.org.uk for an application form in the first instance.
