Tools to help you pray

Things to Pray for

• Begin with praise. Consider Isaiah 40:28. Acknowledge who God is and spend time thanking Him for this.
• Be honest before God as you bring the joys and the sorrows of the health service before Him.
• Pray for the patients and their families who are struggling with ill health, wearied by challenges in accessing healthcare and/ or experiencing delays in treatment.
• Pray for staff across the health services in the UK and Ireland. Pray particularly for the weary, stressed, burnt-out, and disillusioned.
• Pray for God's people working in the health service to be people of Hope and bringers of Hope.
