Birmingham Student CMF (Christian Medical Fellowship) is a group of Christians from medicine and related courses at the University of Birmingham who meet to encourage and equip each other in our faith to live and speak for Jesus. Our regular meetings and events allow us to get to know each other, and to help us think about how Biblical values affect us currently as students and in the future as healthcare professionals. We work together with the university Christian union (UBCU, www.ubcu.co.uk) and actively encourage members to get involved with CU, and particularly a local church.
The pre-clinical group meets on Wednesday lunchtimes at 1-2pm in the basement common room in the medical school, and the clinical group meets monthly on Saturday mornings. We have a number of whole CMF events to help build an inter-year community, including our day away in October and attending the national CMF student conference together in the spring.
If you want to get involved with CMF, or find out more about CMF or Christianity, then please get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org and we can add you to our mailing list or answer your questions. We are a friendly bunch and would love to meet you!
