Smile International - Step Out Trips

Join Smile International for a life-changing experience and make a difference! Step Out trips provide you with opportunities to make a real difference. Whether this is your first time or you are one of the many volunteers who return year after year, we know you will benefit from seeing God at work in your life as you share the love of Jesus with those in need.

You will be spending time with our doctors and nurses visiting cancer patients in their homes, as well as assisting with the day-to-day running of the clinic at the Smile Centre. You will provide the necessary care as set out in the patient's care plan, assist with personal care needs such as washing, dressing and mobility and help patients take their routine medicines, as well as provide vital emotional support. Depending on your skill level and expertise, there may be opportunities for you to conduct training sessions with medical professionals.
