Medical Professionals: Samaritan's Purse – Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART)

Description: Samaritan's Purse is looking for skilled, experienced and Christ-committed medics to serve on the DART and stand ready to respond at a moment's notice - whenever and wherever disaster strikes. The DART specializes in providing water, food, shelter, and medical care while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. The DART is composed of a roster of on-call professionals (medical and non-medical), trained to respond within a complex international environment to save lives and reduce suffering in the name of Jesus Christ.
Employment Details: Due to the extreme and sometimes hazardous environments typically found hours after a major disaster and the need for skilled, humanitarian professionals, Samaritan's Purse DART responders are paid, short-term, contracted employees of the organisation. Deployments typically last a minimum of 3 weeks, and DART members are fully reimbursed for all reasonable costs during or required for their deployment.
Medical Roles Needed: Doctors, Nurses, Surgeons, Anaesthetists, General Practitioners, Paediatricians, Midwives, Laboratory Technicians, Surgical Technicians, Paramedics, Nutritionists, Biomedical Technicians, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Medical Logistics/Store Managers.
